It is the objective of Mr. Greens Produce to provide products and services that are safe for consumption, as well as meet or exceed regulatory and customer requirements. We accomplish this by adhering to our Food Safety Management System which is based upon the guidelines set forth in the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA). We adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure that products are safe and of the highest quality possible.
We utilize a HACPP system which is based upon Codex/Alimentarius and the National Advisory Committee on Microbiological Criteria for Food (NACMCF). We have developed a strong Food Safety Plan built upon Pre-requisite programs and Preventive Controls.
We strive to continually improve the effectiveness of our Food Safety Management System and our commitment to customer satisfaction by monitoring our performance against the primusGFS third party auditing system and through leadership that promotes employee involvement. We aim to effectively communicate safety issues with customers, suppliers, and other relevant interested parties. We continually train all personnel to ensure that they have all of the necessary competencies in GMP and food safety.
We have committed to providing all of the necessary resources in respect to employee staffing, training, and communication as well as capital expenditures for the facility. Regular food safety meetings are conducted to ensure that our system is effective. This represents our commitment to provide safe food products and to continually improve in order to better serve our customer base.
